The following is a true story.....
This week I had a gym tell me about a new member they had come in for a baseline to try their place out. The new member was actually a member of another Crossfit affiliate in the same town but he wanted to see what else was available. After a tour of the gym and a brief baseline he started talking to the owners about what their gym had to offer him as opposed to his box he was currently going to. Both gyms have great facilities, great coaches, great locations and the same prices. So whats the difference? The gym owners that have xFit Global at their gym were able to plug him in to their gym at all times with the use of the app. He was able to see their wods, schedules, peoples results, and keep track of his own personal log with the app that they were able to provide for him. He is now a member at their gym.
It would be extremely egotistical on my part to say that xFit Global was the sole reason why this Crossfitter switched from gym A to gym B. Of course I would like to think that. Although xFit Global isnt the sole reason, it was one of the reasons why he decided to switch. He recognized that these gym owners cared enough about their members to provide them with the tools and equipment that they wanted and needed to grow as a community. As Crossfitters thats what we are about. Community. What better way to connect to your box, your community and your friends than through a media outlet that everyone is using?
